Iran has threatened to attack American military bases and other targets in Europe in the event of new US attacks on its territory, The Times reports. Possible targets include US targets in the UK, Germany, Italy and Portugal. Tehran also allows the use of proxy groups and cyber attacks, as well as attacks on infrastructure, including submarine internet cables. Western experts point out that it is unlikely that Iranian missiles will be able to reach many bases in Europe, but Tehran may involve criminal groups and networks associated with it. Earlier, the president of Iran said that he wanted to resolve the conflict through negotiations. However, the United States is considering different scenarios of action. These include attacks that last from several hours to several weeks, maintaining a naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz and putting pressure on Tehran without resuming hostilities.
