Earlier, the press service of the FSB reported that information was received from the US through partner channels about the preparation of a terrorist attack in Moscow, and appropriate work was carried out. Before that, the US Embassy in Moscow issued a warning about a "credible threat of an event that could cause mass casualties" in Tsaritsyno.
