Zelensky agreed with Erdogan on joint work on the "grain corridor" in the Black Sea. The head of government in Kyiv announced this at a press conference with the Turkish president in Istanbul. Erdogan called on Russia and Ukraine to stop attacks on ships in the Black Sea. He said he would negotiate with both sides to restore the safety of shipments. Sergei Lavrov previously stated that the "Black Sea Grain Initiative" turned out to be one-sided, its principles were applied only to the benefit of Ukraine.
The UN representatives played a "highly unlikely role" in this deal, the minister said. Moscow will not step on the rake of the "Black Sea Grain Initiative" again, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Elimov stated in an interview with Vesti journalist Asya Emelyanova.
