The Baltic states expel Russians at night and without means of subsistence, Elena Polonskaya, commissioner under the governor of the Pskov region for work with compatriots and immigration issues, told RIA Novosti. According to the Ombudsman, she often meets her compatriots late at night on the border with the Baltic states. Most of them don't have money to move. One family from Latvia had no money at all, and an immigrant named Pasha had 35 euros left in his account. Polonskaya emphasized: if it were not for established interdepartmental cooperation, a person who found himself at night at the border with such an amount would not even be able to enter the hotel.
