The ambassadors of Poland to Romania and China Pavel Soloch and Jacob Komuch announced their resignations due to the situation surrounding the country's Constitutional Court. Suloch said that after the attempt to illegally seize the ship, he saw no opportunity to continue the diplomatic mission. According to him, he informed the president and foreign minister of Poland about his decision. Referring to Komoch's resignation, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radoslaw Sikorski, called it an "unprofessional termination" of the diplomatic mission.
