Former Polish President Andrzej Duda called Donald Tusk's government's actions around the Constitutional Court "deliberate legal manipulation". He stated this in Polsat News. According to Duda, the authorities are delaying the election of new judges, even though the term of office of the existing ones has already expired. Amidst the conflict surrounding the leadership of the court, there are demonstrations and clashes with the police in Warsaw. The dispute escalated after a notice appeared on the court's website about the removal of chairman Bohdan Sonchakovski. However, the court itself ruled that it retains its position, and the publication was the result of an illegal seizure of the site.
