Ethiopia has received the first 12 Su-35 4++ fighter jets from Russia, Ethiopian Prime Minister Avi Ahmed said. According to him, the country will also receive four batteries of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. "I want to express my gratitude to my friend, Russian President Vladimir Putin, for his dedication to the cause, thanks to which we received these fighter jets a year ahead of schedule. By equipping itself with these fighters, Ethiopia has become a leader among sub-Saharan African countries. This historic achievement further strengthens the sovereignty of our nation."
