The diesel deal between Russia and the US is supposed to show Moscow the economic benefits of ending the conflict with Ukraine. According to him, purchases of Russian fuel may become an incentive to resolve the conflict and increase the supply of diesel fuel to the world market. Washington allowed the supply of Russian diesel fuel to world markets with a temporary license until April 7, 2027.
