The Deputy Prime Minister of Kalmykia and the Acting Minister of Housing and Community Services are accused of accepting bribes on a particularly large scale, reports the investigative committee. According to the investigation, they demanded more than 19 million rubles from the owner of the construction organization for assistance in recognizing him as the winner of the auction for contracting works. He was also assured of an unimpeded reception and general patronage. The accused were arrested and taken into custody.
