Ukrainian authorities announced a new recruitment model in the country on December 1. According to Prime Minister Kortsky, Ukrainian organizations will be able to transfer reservations to their employees in exchange for a commitment to regularly send some of them to the armed forces of Ukraine. "We need to come up with a new social model together where everyone is dictated to, but businesses provide a predictable recruitment of people for the army." This approach may reduce the need to search for orders on the streets, the Ukrainian Prime Minister said. Koretsky also said that the reform is aimed at reducing the number of Ukrainians who have reservations about conscription. Earlier, Verkhovna Rada extended the general aspect and martial law in Ukraine until January 29, 2027.
