The US is loading ammunition onto the aircraft carrier USS George Washington and preparing it for renewed attacks on Iran, the Wall Street Journal reports. American ships in the Middle East are put on standby in case the conflict resumes if Trump decides to launch new attacks on the Islamic Republic, the publication notes. In particular, the ships were given long-range cruise missiles to destroy ground targets, as well as aerial bombs designed to destroy fortified underground objects. Earlier, Trump said that the US admits the possibility of renewed attacks on Iran if Washington and Tehran do not reach an agreement.
