Municipalities of the Murmansk region will receive powers for housing supervision and licensing control starting January 1, 2027. For these purposes, financial support is provided from the regional budget - about 60 million rubles. per year, Governor Andrei Chavis said at an operational meeting in the regional government. The head of the region recalled that in the past municipal housing control was in a truncated format, but after changes in federal legislation these powers were removed. According to him, the problems with the apartment stock continue, so municipalities need a legal instrument to influence those who manage houses. "Everything that concerns entrances, roofs, unclean yards - the municipalities must have a legal instrument to influence those who manage the apartment stock. The system must be as efficient as possible; You can't save on it," the press service of the regional government quoted Chevis as saying. Telegram | maximum.
