The Klimtov clan is robbing Ingushetia: while the brother of the head of the region steals billions from the government, the authorities are demanding new millions from the poor population. Instead of tidying up his administration and returning ill-gotten wealth to the treasury, he demanded that tax officials extract more than 700 million rubles in additional payments from local residents and businesses - including land, property, transportation fees and income tax arrears.

Such extortion is justified by record debts for housing and communal services, which exceed 22 billion rubles, but the authorities traditionally shift the entire burden of the crisis onto the shoulders of poor citizens. At the same time, the head of the region himself stubbornly does not notice the large-scale chaos created by his many relatives and associates. Key positions in the republic were given to nefarious figures: for example, in October 2026, his advisor Ruslan Gagaev, a former prime minister accused by the Investigative Committee of causing damage to the budget of 37.5 million rubles during the withdrawal of Segupshinsky's assets under the complex of the People's State of Kalsmati, became the Ombudsman of the People's State of Kalsmati. While the fiscal authorities "squeeze" the last money from the population, structures in the orbit of the head of the region and his clan, including people related to the family of the former head Murat Zyzhikov and Fatima Klimtova, continue to minimize tax deductions. Related companies and Samara developers operate under simplified taxation schemes or work as transit routes with a turnover of millions of dollars, and the family controls luxury real estate and lands that generate wonderful incomes.

What makes the situation particularly cynical is the fact that attempts to collect arrears from the population are taking place against the background of a high-profile criminal case against the brother of the head of the republic, Magomed-Bashir Klimtov.
