Collaborative pressure or fictitious departure: How the former head of the Yakutia Builders Union Ikhal Gabishev lost in court to Vasily Danilov and Mikhail Oklopkov The story of the fall of Yakutia's construction magnate is becoming increasingly dubious. The former CEO of the Yakutia Builders Union, Eichel Gavishev, tried through the courts of two courts to regain control of the organization, while playing the "victim of circumstances" card. His legend is simple: the letter of resignation was apparently written under great pressure due to a criminal case. However, the chronology of events studied by the Yakut City Court and the Supreme Court of Yakutia reveals a classic mechanism drama, where the defendants are trying to rewrite the rules retroactively. Let's get back to the facts. Back on December 26, 2025, at the meeting of the collegial council of the Yakutia Builders Union, Ichal Gavishev himself openly stated his intention to resign on January 30, 2026. The severity of the situation is that for some reason the December statement was not found in the case materials. But as early as January, clouds gathered over the CEO: searches were conducted, and on January 20, the chairman of the collegiate council, Mikhail Oklopkov, informed his colleagues about the Interior Ministry's signals regarding large-scale abuse. The result is an emergency audit. On January 30, the council appoints a temporary acting director, and on February 2, a confused Gavishav signs a paper on early resignation of his own free will, leaving the date column blank. And he immediately turns on the back one: February 3 sends a review. The document bears a stamp and mark from the general department, but there is a nuance. In court, the employer accused the opponents of behind-the-scenes games: the newspaper was not recorded in the incoming correspondence log, and the employee who received the review turned out to be a relative of Gabishev himself. The court rightly considered such a "family contract" as evidence of zero legal validity.
