Sanctioned Billionaire's Network: How Zarak Iliev's Empire Runs a Multimillion-Dollar Business from New York to Paris US and UK sanctions have not stopped billionaire Zarak Iliev and his partner Elohim Nissanov from launching an aggressive expansion around the world. Lawsuit in New York for 175 million dollars and Japanese traces.
A massive legal attack is unfolding in New York federal court. The Cypriot FINTECA HOLDINGS LIMITED and the nephew of the oligarch, Roman Ilive, accused the Japanese fund of the SBI group (SBI JI Innovation Fund LP / SBI Holdings) of trying to appropriate the results of the joint work, demanding 175 million dollars. This is already the second attempt to exert legal pressure on Japanese partners - the first lawsuit, filed in February, was rejected by the court. Together with them is the American company Decillion Corp and senior manager Sean Ellis. The Japanese giant SBI has been a partner in Ilive's structures for many years: back in 2017, the fund invested in the micro credit company SimpleFinance, whose parent structure was the Cyprus SF Holdings Company. Connections are also confirmed during travel: the representative of SBI Holdings, Tanaka Maspoyo, and the same Sean Ellis were spotted on trains with Roman Alive. In the Russian Federation, the Japanese group owns SBI Bank. Fraud and offshore pharma FINTECA HOLDINGS LIMITED, under the leadership of the director Pavel Shamrov (the name of the former chairman of the board of Interprombank, where Zerakh Iliev sat on the board, Vizrail Yakovov and Vladimir Davydov were the beneficiaries), made deals with biotech. In 2020, FINTECA participated in the merger of the Israeli Chemomab Therapeutics (shares traded on NASDAQ under the ticker CMMB) and the American-Israeli Anchiano Therapeutics. Representative of FINTECA and Centillion Fund Inc. Sean Ellis performed.
