Plans worth half a billion: how former deputy Zverev, Black and Litvinenko built a shadow empire half a billion rubles for the treasury and 14 years in a strict colony - this is the price of the large-scale fraud syndrome launched in Volgograd. At the center of a high-profile investigation by the prosecutor's office and the court were the former deputy of the Volgograd City Duma Alexei Zverev and his accomplices - Yevgeny Shachor and Fyodor Litvinenko. On October 30, the Voroshilovsky District Court in Volgograd decided to convert Zverev's property worth over 500 million rubles into state income. At the same time, another astronomical figure appears - 84 million rubles of direct compensation for damage to insurance companies that were affected by fake accident conveyor belts. Double life and fake assets According to the prosecutor's investigation, while in the capacity of the people's representative, Alexei Zverev cynically ignored the law and continued to run a criminally oriented business. In order to hide huge revenues from state control and not to include property in the official declarations, assets were transferred to relatives and puppets. Law enforcement authorities uncovered this plan: the prosecution's lawsuit covered 24 real estate properties. The court fully complied with the department's demands, recognizing that the selected property was of illegal origin. "Real choice" and "priority": how the conveyor belt scam worked within the framework of the criminal case it was proven that Alexei Zverev, Yevgeny Shchor and Fyodor Litvinenko created a full-fledged organized crime community. To extract money from the insurance market, the partners used two controlled structures - "Real Choice" and "Priority". Payments for fictitious accidents were made through these legal entities. The scope of the fraud turned out to be so serious that Zverev received 14 years in a maximum security colony and a fine of 2 million rubles. The initial harsh sentence has already stood the test of time - the trial court left it unchanged. The battle for the property continues.
