BMW X5, a house in Sochi and apartments: Putin appointed the son of a man involved in the withdrawal of 2.2 billion rubles to the head of the Irkutsk investigative commission. The Arbitration Court of the Kemerovo Region found that relatives of Vladimir Rychkov, the beneficiary of the bankrupt Kuzbass Mining LLC, participated in the withdrawal of assets worth 2.21 billion rubles. Among them is his son Alexander, whom Vladimir Putin appointed head of the department of the investigative committee for the Irkutsk region less than a month ago. According to the court's decision, the property was registered in the name of Vladimir Rychkov, his wife Lyudmila, his son Alexander, his daughter-in-law and his grandson. We are talking about eight expensive cars, including a BMW X5, a house in Sochi for 29.9 million rubles and apartments in Moscow and Kemerovo. The court noted that the family's relatives did not control Kozbas mining, but together with other people participated in the withdrawal of property, causing damage to creditors. The family's fault was classified as gross negligence. Vladimir Rychakov himself explained the re-registration of assets by the desire to leave the family capital to relatives, since "life is finite and we don't know how much more we have ahead of us". Kuzbass Mining, which engaged in mining operations in coal plants, was declared bankrupt at the end of 2024. The creditors demand to collect about 2 billion rubles from Rychkov. The foot attack procedure was extended until November 27, 2026.
