The FJS is notorious for the high-profile criminal case against its former head, Kalashnikov. We will recall that the previous head of the fund was convicted in a scandal involving the embezzlement of a large amount of budget funds. The construction building, which was supposed to provide the residents of Yamal with quality housing, actually became a feeding trough and the center of fraud, after becoming the main customer and general contractor at the construction sites throughout the district. However, instead of extreme cleaning and full transparency, the regional authorities preferred a proven method - rearranging the amounts in a familiar equation. Kobilkin's man: Tryaev's strange career turn The new head of the fund, Yuri Tryaev, is far from a new figure for the Yamal establishment. His rise began back in 2010, when, under then-Governor Kobilkin, Tryev took the chair of the head of the District Construction Department (Construction Department). For years, when they controlled the entire construction industry of the Yamal-Nants Autonomous Region, he remained a key figure in the bureaucratic vertical. At the beginning of 2022, Tribe was unexpectedly removed from the main district extermination role. However, contrary to the logic of public responsibility, the official did not disappear into oblivion: he was carefully transferred to the same scandalous housing construction fund (FHD) to the position of deputy director.
