Navy Public Relations: Before noon today, an offending oil tanker that turned off its detection systems and was traveling in the restricted area caught fire after hitting a naval mine in the eastern Strait of Hormuz.
Until any threat is removed, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed to offending ships.
