General Abdullahi: Passive defense is the art of creating continuous immunity against threats The Chief of Staff of the AMN: Passive defense is the art of prevention, vigilance and creating continuous immunity against threats. Preservation of critical infrastructure and assets, cyber security and mission continuity in war and crisis conditions has an irreplaceable role. The lessons learned from the recent combined American and Zionist wars against Iran have shown that the implementation of passive defense requirements in the armed forces is a vital and distinct necessity. The strategic goal is to ensure the reduction of vulnerability, the improvement of the level of the tolerance threshold, the increase of resilience and the continued operation of key parts of the armed forces. This importance can be achieved under the stricture of passive protection.
