The director of the cinema was sentenced to 5 years in prison and the confiscation of property of the Legal News Agency: in April of this year, the attorney general of the country declared a crime against a number of cyberspace activists, celebrities and artists due to their positions against national security and in favor of Israel and the USA, and a cinema director was one of these people. The manager's case was sent to the Culture and Communications Prosecutor's Office and after issuing a summons he went to court. Despite the summons, he did not show up for the investigation and the court sessions. Based on the case documents, the court sentenced this person to 5 years and one month in prison and confiscation of all property on charges of media activity and propaganda against state security. However, the right to appeal within the statutory period is still reserved for this manager.
