The removal of the page of the Koran program "Maffal" from YouTube; Censorship of Koranic content in the shadow of the claim to freedom of expression? The official YouTube page of Channel 3's international Koran program "Machhal", with about 500 thousand followers and over 100 million views, was completely and permanently blocked and deleted in a sudden and controversial action. This action was carried out while the "Maffal" page did not publish any content that violates YouTube's rules, and without receiving a single advance warning, without notifying a specific case of the violation, and without providing an opportunity to protest, change or review the decision, it faced permanent removal. Blocking popular media in the Koran, without providing documentation of the violation and without a transparent mechanism of investigation, greatly strengthens the suspicion of selective censorship and discrimination in the application of YouTube's content policy.
