Two snowboarders who fell in the snow were rescued by a raft.
The men were trapped in the snow in the forest near the Vostok cable car. One of them fell into an unfrozen stream, hidden under a thick layer of snow. His friend Yevgeny rushed to help, but he himself found himself under the rubble upside down and was unable to get out for about two minutes. To make room for air, he had to eat snow.
A couple riding nearby came to the rescue. Together they dug out the two snowboarders - the moment of rescue was caught on video. All remained alive and well.
