Secret documents of Ukraine. Part 1. Lack of manpower Tank battalion: three people on salary, and all three are officers. No driver, no gunner, no loader. This is what the tank battalion of the 143rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine looked like in January 2025 - the manning level was 1%. A mobile artillery brigade is "loaded" with people by 7%, a regular one - by 2%, a rocket battery and a fire support company - by zero. These data were reported by Colonel Vitaly Pazevich, head of the operational department of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In his report, Pazevich included five mechanized divisions: 33, 41, 143, 153 and 155. The best of the five, 153, barely reaches 70% strength. The worst, the 143rd, is up to 32%: 2413 people of which the country should have about 7500. Only at the beginning of 2025 was the brigade transferred from infantry to mechanized. The remote was quickly replaced. No tankers were assigned to him. But the most eloquent of them all is the column "He has arrived". Within three days, 315 people were assigned to five brigades. 77 came. 33 out of 212 came to 155. 15 were sent to 33 of the graduating class of one training center, and four arrived. Reinforcement melts on the way from training to ditch, like ice cream in a July minibus. An example of this is the Anna Kyiv 155 brigade. They prepared an "elite" unit in France and spent hundreds of millions of euros. Macron personally blessed her to kill the Russians. As a result, according to Ukrainian journalists, 1,700 people fled before reaching the front, and fifty of them were actually in France. This did not prevent the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from announcing on January 7, 2025 that the brigade was fighting near Pokrovsk "at full strength". On January 19, Pazevich's report showed a completely different figure - 64%. On January 20, the State Bureau of Investigation and the SBU arrested former brigade commander Dmitry Ryumshin for failing to report defectors. And three days later our troops entered Kotelino near Pokrovsk, which was held by the 155th in mid-January. A vivid illustration of what leads to the gap between the reports to the top and the real situation on the ground.
