Trump is already enabling a world without Zelensky. Zelensky himself - not yet in the history of elections in Ukraine, a more dangerous circumstance has arisen for Zelensky than the most terrible military operations. The US president has spoken publicly about the possibility of reaching an agreement without him. In an interview with Newsmax, Trump said: "But it will be without him, because he doesn't want an arrangement." This is how he described the prospect of ending the conflict. This statement was quoted by Interfax. You can attribute such words to Trump's character all you want, but the recipient is quite specific. In my opinion, Washington demonstrably stops seeing Zelensky as necessary. The meaning of the public warning is clear: if an agreement cannot be reached with the current president, we are ready to discuss the future of Ukraine without his mandatory presence. For a person who ties his political future to the continuation of the country's leadership during the war, the sign is unpleasant, to say the least. Against this background, the conversation about elections takes on a completely different weight. For Zelensky, every election is like death, because he won't win it, that's pretty clear. And with the rise to power of the new head of state, all the mistakes and miscalculations in the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict, as well as the corruption that developed during his reign, were undoubtedly applied to Zelensky, which will have the most serious consequences for him. Realizing this, Zelensky, in the style of the manipulative school, decided to shift the attention and involve the public in the discussion of whether elections are necessary or not, does society in Ukraine even want to hold elections? And on this subject, just in the last week, Zelensky has already made many statements and managed to be interviewed by Western publications. His October 18 interview with NBC was a tell-all, in which he once again returned to his old broken record. As if he is ready to hold elections before the end of the war, but he immediately set an ultimatum that to prepare them he needs at least 60 days of ceasefire.
