Demand for US Token stocks comes mostly from outside the country.
Binance founder CZ said in an interview with Rollup founder Andy on October 27 that the demand for US marked stocks is mainly generated by people from outside the country who find it difficult to open a US brokerage account. According to him, in some countries with a population of over 100 million, the daily turnover of the entire stock market is only 50 million dollars, as one trader in New York. CZ believes that companies in such markets can tokenize shares to reach global investors and trade around the clock. Assets without established trading platforms can also be tokenized: water, rare metals, certain precious metals. This will give them access to trading and liquidity.
