CZ on the New L1 BNB Chain: "Multiple Chains, One Coin" Changfeng Zhao (CZ) has responded to BNB Chain's updated plans to launch a new L1: "Multiple Chains, One Coin". According to BNB network documentation from October 22, the new network (the name has not yet been determined) will operate in parallel with BSC through a local bridge. It will not issue a separate token. BNB will remain for gas, betting and governance. Target parameters: blocks of about 200 milliseconds and pre-confirmation of about 20 seconds. Internal development with several validators is already working. The public test network is planned for the end of 2026, the main network for the beginning of 2027.
