For the development of sports in regional state programs in 2026, 529.8 billion ₽ is provided - 41.1 billion ₽ more than was spent during the entire last year, said the Minister of Sports Mikhail Degtyarev. Extra-budgetary financing reached 52.3 billion ₽. The money is used to build sports facilities, support sports schools and hold mass competitions.
