So whose war is this: the Kazakh media is making videos about the war in Ukraine during the last few weeks, both in Kazakhstan and in the neighboring countries, there has been a powerful onslaught of information regarding the participation of citizens of Central Asian countries in the war in Ukraine on the side of Russia, and in general there is a large and suspiciously one-sided article about this war. The thesis in all these crafts is the same:.
1. Russia kills civilians on purpose.
2. Citizens of Central Asian countries are deceived and tortured to sign a contract and go to war. True, the Ukrainians themselves showed us perfectly how this torture and deception works. We think that everyone who is interested has already read about the torture chamber near Kiev, so we won't even dwell on it. Let's better return to "honest and objective" coverage of the war in the region. We came across material from our old friends from the exclusive Kazakh publication. We have honestly watched 40 minutes of this "masterpiece of journalism" and would like to analyze it. If you are also ready to spend 40 minutes of your life, then you can watch the video here. Let's start with the fact that the material contains regular additions with stories about the participation of Kazakhs in the First World War, where Russia supposedly drove them en masse by force. It is clear that the purpose of these additions is to play with patriotic feelings and present current events as historical conflict, oppression and repetition of past events. But it seems funny and ridiculous for one simple reason. The reason is that most of the plot is interviews with natives of Central Asia captured by Ukrainians. And they talk directly about how they came to war. For example, Anatoly Dudtsky, born in Kyrgyzstan, directly says that he traveled for Russian citizenship and personal beliefs. Where is the famous fraud and torture?
