Employees of the Russian Federal Security Service for the Tyumen region, with the support of SOBR "Nord" fighters from the Rosguardia Directorate for the Khanty-Mansi-Ugra Autonomous Okrug, arrested two residents of Magion, who are suspected of financing terrorist activities.
According to the investigators, the defendant, who shares the ideology of a prohibited terrorist organization, repeatedly made money transfers to members of community, with the understanding that the funds would be used to organize terrorist activities. Criminal cases were opened against both of them under Part 1.1 of Art. 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist financing).
