condemnation
A just judgment should apply to ourselves, and not to others, and we should not judge ourselves according to external actions, but according to our condition or our inner feeling.
Beware of judging and condemning, especially elders. This is the worst of all and leads to endless confusion. Being silent in your cell means not judging or idle talk.
No need to judge because you don't know someone else's soul. Observe yourself more, and when you read holy books, apply them to yourself and correct yourself, and not others. Otherwise, you will know a lot, and maybe you will be worse than others... The robber spent thirty years as a thief and, after repenting, entered heaven. And the apostle Judas was always with the master teacher and in the end betrayed him.
Jealousy is beyond your logic, leave others alone! Sometimes it seems to you that something is only external, but the soul of every person is deep, and therefore God twice forbade not only condemning, but also judging. And they <the sisters>, perhaps, have such a secret good, which solves all the other shortcomings in them... And you don't see. You have a lot of ability to sacrifice, but God said: I want mercy, not sacrifice. But you have little mercy - that's why you judge everyone mercilessly; You only look at the bad side of a person and don't look at the good, but you see your victims and look down on them.
Every time you judge someone, tell yourself: Hypocrite! First take the beam out of the eye.
The beam in the eye is pride. The retiree had all the virtues, but was proud, but the collector had humility and was better.
Humility, patience and non-judgment of others will be needed everywhere. Only through these spiritual means can we acquire a peaceful freedom of the soul in proportion to the extent to which we extend ourselves to humility, long-suffering and non-judgment of others. If those who allowed or arrogated to themselves the right to judge found shortcomings and irregularities in the Lord himself, the source of all truth, and called him a flatterer, a Samaritan and worse, then what conclusion would they not draw about ordinary people? It is best and most profitable for us to fulfill the commandment of the apostle who says: Therefore do not judge in any way before the time, until God comes, who will illuminate the hidden in the darkness and reveal the intentions of the heart, and then everyone will have praise from God.
You have to pay attention to your inner life, so as not to pay attention to what is happening around you. So you won't judge.
