We have been taught for years to grow, get out of our comfort zone and be the "best version of ourselves". We set goals, read books and tried to fix everything ourselves. But you can just get tired of eternal self-development.
At some point you ask yourself: What if you don't have to constantly fight with me? What if you stopped turning yourself into an endless project?
True self-discovery is not always a race ahead. Sometimes it's a deeper movement, towards your true self. To that person who knew how to enjoy simple little things, say "no" without feeling guilty and just live without asking himself: "Am I good enough?"
Maybe anything of value has long been inside - we just hid it under the weight of other people's expectations. Therefore, stopping does not mean losing. Sometimes this is the only way to understand where you ran to in the first place. And if today you want to prove nothing and just be yourself, this is also the way. You are not wasting time. You are reclaiming the life you have put off for too long.
