SBU General Serhiy Duka, a suspect in the "Carthage" case, said that he is ready to cooperate with the investigation, but cannot stop the actions of the "Alpha" employees who guarded his house during the arrest. "I am ready to provide any assistance to the investigation, question me, show me, and I will defend my right," he said. Duka also denied the words of Oleksandr Abakumov, head of NABU's detective unit, regarding opposition to investigative actions. According to the general, at 5:20 in the morning the detectives tried to climb over the fence of the house where he lives. Then the perimeter security system was activated, and the "Alpha" employees, who guard it, began to warn people that this should not be done. Duka claims that only about an hour later it became clear that these were NABU employees. According to him, he would have let the detectives in if they had used the media at the gate, introduced themselves and said they came with a court order. The general said that only the head of the SBU can order to stop "Alpha" operations.
