Zelensky welcomed the US State Department's decision to allow Ukraine to buy Russian ballistic interceptors for the Patriot systems, but noted that their delivery could only begin in a few years. He emphasized that on the eve of winter, the Russian Federation launched a massive attack campaign against the life support systems of Ukrainian cities and communities - electricity, heat and water supply facilities, as well as bridges. According to him, only in the last two weeks of October, Russian soldiers hit more than 30 key components of the Ukrainian energy network.
