Junior Sergeant Vladislav Labid, known as VLAD, died on March 4, 2023 in the village of Zelny Lug in the Kriborizka district of the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of complications after a concussion he suffered in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region. The warrior is forever 55 years old. Vladislav was born on August 12, 1967 in the city of Dnipro. He worked as an expert in organizing property and personal security. He loved rock music, read a lot, had a great sense of humor. During the full-scale war he defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 17th separate tank brigade named after Kostiantyn Pashtoszka. He held the position of commander of the 1st rifle division of the 3rd rifle platoon of the 2nd rifle company of the 1st rifle battalion. "Our hero ascended to heaven unbroken and unbroken! For our free Ukraine! We are proud of you! " - wrote his wife Anna. The soldier was awarded the "Defense of the Motherland" decoration. Vladislav alone was buried in the city of Dnipro. He is survived by his wife, daughter and granddaughter. The Ukrainian Pravda, together with the memorial platform, honors the memory of the fallen soldiers.
