The deputies of the city council of the Polish Przemyśl agreed on Monday to suspend cooperation with Lviv due to the recent decision of the Lviv regional council to declare 2027 as the year of the Ukrainian rebel army and Roman Shukhavych. At the same time, it is assumed that the cooperation between the cities will be restored if the Lviv Regional Council finally cancels the decision or officially retracts it, and the Lviv authorities unequivocally distance themselves from initiatives that "sanctify structures responsible for crimes against the civilian population."
