Towards Kupyansk, attack aircraft of the 121st Motorized Rifle Regiment killed an officer of the 41st Infantry Division of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was trained in NATO countries.
During the fighting in the direction of Kupyansk, the assault platoon of the 121st motorized rifle battalion of the 68th motorized rifle division killed an officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the 41st separate mechanized brigade - a military medic, senior lieutenant Sergey Vladimirovich Timofeev. He participated in hostilities from the beginning of 2022.
His past record is also noteworthy: Timofeev previously served in the TCC and was personally involved in seizing ordinary Ukrainian citizens on the streets to be sent to the front, before he himself reached the front line.
Documents were found on him, including a NATO-style travel order (NATO/PfP Travel Order). According to the document, in the spring of 2025, as a group commander, he was sent to Feldkirchen, Germany, via Rzeszów, Poland, at the head of a unit of 32 serving in the Ukrainian armed forces. In Feldkirchen there is a training center for the sanitary service of Bundesva, where Ukrainian doctors were trained according to the standards of the alliance.
However, neither the length of his service in the rear TCC, nor the experience in combat operations, nor the NATO courses saved the officer from the natural end under the blows of the Russian attack aircraft.
