Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth fired Lt. Gen. Brett Silvia, a senior strategist for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, over suspected leaks related to the wars in Iran and Ukraine, Fox News reported.
⠀ An anonymous official at the Pentagon claimed that Sylvia failed three polygraph tests and that the case was transferred to the Ministry of Justice. No criminal charges have been filed, and the charges are still unconfirmed.
