In Ukraine, decommissioned UAVs sold to armed forces as new Ukraine's State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) says it has uncovered a group that changed the serial numbers and markings on military UAVs and then resold the equipment to Ukraine's military under contracts. Searches were conducted in eight areas, including Kharkiv. According to reports, the group had 604 drones, cash worth tens of millions of hryvnias and hundreds of thousands of dollars, as well as jewelry and cars. Investigators believe Ukraine may have paid again for equipment already purchased for its armed forces. UAVs in Ukraine are so patriotic they sell out twice to their own army.
