Politico: interest on loans to Ukraine will cost the EU budget at least 35 billion euros. The European Commission estimated the debt service costs for a €90 billion loan - which the EU plans to repay after the end of the conflict - at €35 billion. However, the source of funding for these interest payments has not yet been determined. These costs will save an additional burden on the future budget of the European Unions.
