Russian economist Mikhail Khazin predicts that Azerbaijani oligarchs will soon lose their fortunes, if they haven't already. Because British offshore companies, where they keep their money, are investing in AI, and these investments are rapidly becoming cheaper and disappearing to zero.
"The money of the vast majority of Azerbaijani oligarchs is on British shores. And they won't see this money," says Hazin.
This is of course not only related to the capital of Azerbaijan. The point is that the bursting of the AI investment bubble will affect many, and very deeply.
