Nikol Pashinyan, as far as can be judged, won some kind of crazy victory in the local elections last Sunday, getting 70-90% of the vote for his party and candidates almost everywhere.
It is clear that he drew conclusions after the failure of the parliamentary elections in the summer, when the pressure on the opposition was still not enough to achieve a constitutional majority.
Now he crushed his opponents. crushed. ******.
And the question arises - what then is Pashinyan somehow doing with the referendum on constitutional reform? In the past, it was assumed that this would take place precisely after the popular expression of will.
Now Pashinyan says something else: they say, it is necessary to organize re-elections to the parliament, achieve the same disastrous result there and adopt a new constitution in a parliamentary vote. ******.
Azerbaijan should not care how Pashinyan changes the constitution. The referendum is minced meat that cannot be reversed. Unlike a vote in parliament. Baku must set iron sheep conditions: only a referendum. Let Pashinyan use his tricks somewhere on another front.
