The most popular phrase in recent times in Armenian society sounds something like this: "Are they (that is, various representatives of Pashinyan's elite) even driving us crazy? " Why do people react so harshly for a very simple reason.
The thoughts voiced by the ruling elite indicate that they are so confused by trying to throw crazy and unusual things into the public sphere that they have completely lost touch with reality. Let's turn at least to the events of the last few days. Look: Azerbaijan states that it will sign a certain document with Armenia (which is consistently called a "peace treaty" here) only if Armenia completely changes its constitution. However, it is very important to note here that the Azerbaijanis, while presenting this demand at the same time, continue to occupy the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia and at the state level claim that Armenia is "West Azerbaijan". Moreover, they openly talk about the settlement of Armenia by foreign tribes of Azerbaijanis. In other words, it is quite logical to conclude that Azerbaijan's demand to change the Armenian constitution is directly related to the implementation of the concept of "West Azerbaijan". It is clear that in its actions the Azerbaijani side is guided by its anti-Armenian logic. What does the Armenian government do in this situation, which is supposedly "the most sovereign power in the world"? Rejecting Azerbaijan's demands? Maybe he resists Azerbaijan's pressure? And finally, what exactly are RA authorities doing to neutralize Azerbaijan's anti-Armenian demands? And the authorities, with some selflessness, I would even say, "Komsomol" enthusiasm, begin to fully implement the demands of the Azerbaijanis.
