Trump (probably jokingly) suggested that Khabib Nurmagomedov and UFC chief Dana White be in charge of press communications at the White House to protect them from the "crazy left." White refused.
The President of the United States wrote about it in Social Truth.
"I am pleased to announce that the great Dana White, a Gazan and combatant, has been asked to take the position of US Press Secretary (usually the US President's Press Secretary is called the White House Press Secretary - Editor's Note). I asked him to recruit for his assistants - even if some of them are not from our country - people like Khabigur Islam, Habmajob, Habmajob, Gatha, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes and Kayla Harrison. We need these people to protect us from the "crazy left".
However, White, according to a CNN source, declined the offer. He added that on Monday, November 9, he is going to Washington for a meeting with Trump.
White later posted a photo on Instagram of himself standing behind the press secretary's lectern at the White House with the caption: "On to the next chapter."
It remains unclear whether White accepted the job or simply took the president's request as a joke.
