The founder of "The Male State" Pozdniakov rejected the connection with the false bombing of planes in Europe, so it was said in a message on his channel "Pozdniakov 3.0". She claims that bomb threats in the name of the movement are sent by people using someone else's name. Earlier, the Italian agency ANSA wrote that letters about mining received at Italian airports were written in the name of "fighters of the 'male state'". Pozdniakov has not been associated with the movement since 2019, and since 2021 it has not existed, the "Pozdniakov 3.0" post says. The initiators of the "provocations" in the European Union are acting "in their own interests, simply using someone else's flag", claim the authors of the statement. The BBC's Russian service sent a question about the movement's involvement in the threats to the Telegram account Vlad, listed in the description of the Pozdnyakov 3.0 channel. "What manly country? It hasn't existed for many years," they replied. This correspondence between "Wald" and the reporter was soon published by the Pozdnyakov 3.0 channel. Created by misogynist Vladislav Pozdnyakov, the "male state" was recognized as an "extremist organization" in Russia in October 2021. At that time it was a public post on VKontakte, which was soon deleted. Now Pozdniakov manages the Telegram channel "Pozdniakov 3.0", he sells advertising and access to his closed channels. The blogger supports the invasion of Ukraine. Similar threats have been coming since the beginning of the week - before that, from Monday to Tuesday, at least seven flights were disrupted, some of the planes were escorted to the airports by fighter jets. It should be noted that most of the incidents concerned flights to Eastern Europe.
