The court allowed the Russian man who brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend in Dubai to be sent to war according to Mediazona, Albert Morgan was arrested in December 2025 in St. Petersburg. According to the lawsuit, the then 41-year-old man located the 25-year-old Povda flight attendant, Anastasia, in Dubai. They were previously in a relationship. The man in St. Petersburg snuck into the hotel room where his ex-girlfriend was staying and stabbed her at least 20 times with scissors, then burned her body with the murderous bright green. After that, the man returned to Russia. Even before his arrest, Morgan intended to go to war in Ukraine, but did not have time to do so. The reason for the marital conflict was Anastasia's desire to leave Povda and continue working on private planes. Morgan believed that such work involved "chasing and debauchery". As journalists wrote, Morgan often raised his hand against Anastasia, threatened her, secretly entered the girl's apartment and installed wiretapping there.
