The Ministry of Defense requests to postpone the December salaries of the military personnel to January. Now the army receives it from the 10th to the 20th of the last month, and for the month of December - until December 25, according to the current order of the Minister of Defense No. 727. The new version assumes that the money for December will arrive only from January 11 to January 21 of the next year. At the same time, the old dates will be preserved for the joint force group (forces) conducting combat operations in Ukraine. The reasons for the changes are not explained in the document. The public discussion of the project will continue until November 13. If the amendments are adopted in this edition, they may begin to take effect in December 2026, Vastka clarifies. According to the publication, military personnel have received December allowances before Rosh Hashanah since at least 2008.
