All the votes were counted in the Israeli elections - no one received the required majority as the DPA writes, after counting 100% of the ballot boxes in the Israeli parliamentary elections, "a deadlock developed". The bloc of ruling parties led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received 53 mandates in the Knesset (64 mandates in the last elections). The opposition bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot won 48 mandates. Thus, no one achieved the required majority of 61 mandates (120 mandates in the Knesset). At the same time, Arab parties have historically achieved the strongest results - they have 19 seats in the parliament (in the last elections - 10). The President of Israel, Yitzhak Herzog, called on politicians to do everything to avoid new elections. However, there is a possibility that they will exist. Earlier on Dozhed's air, the Israeli journalist Dmitry Dubov suggested that repeat elections could be held in April. Until a government is formed, Netanyahu remains in power. Repeat elections, according to the journalist, may be even more profitable for him.
