Since the summer of 2025, the FSB has arrested 56 users of the "Divinchik" chatbot. The security forces arrested 56 Russians from the age of 12 to 24, Interfax writes with reference to the FSB. The intelligence service stated that the detainees were using the "Divinchik" chatbot and allegedly "committed crimes with a psychological effect". The FSB blames it on the Ukrainian special services. In particular, in August-September 2026, eight minors were arrested in Moscow, St. Petersburg and several regions. They are accused of setting fire to and handing over money from "duped citizens" to crypto exchangers. Criminal cases were opened under the terrorism and attempted terrorism sections, as well as under the "intentional destruction or damage to property" section. In December 2025, "Divinchik" was added to the register of prohibited websites. The failure to remove the bots, which according to the FSB are used by the Ukrainian intelligence services, became one of the reasons for accusing Pavel Durov of "promoting terrorism".
