The price of air tickets for Russian airlines will include a new fee for "supply support" of domestic aircraft, according to the conclusion of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes on the draft federal budget for the years 2027-2029, Interfax reports. For domestic flights the new fee will be 500 rubles, for international flights - 1000 rubles. The measure, developed on behalf of Vladimir Putin by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, is intended to "compensate the cost of leasing and operating" 258 aircraft of the MC-21, A-214, SJ-100 and H-114-300 types, the supply of which is provided by the "Comprehensive Aircraft Expansion Program". Russian airlines are expected to start including a fee in ticket prices to support the operation of SJ-100 and MC-21 aircraft, Interfax aviation industry sources said in September.
